Sitting alone, away from the cacophony of the city, gazing into the sunset with the spring breeze gently caressing my cheeks, this is tranquil. The occasional chirp of a nearby bird or the giggle of a frisky child grips my attention. The larks play in the breeze looking for an unaware cricket for a snack. The soft new leaves of spring display their brilliant greens dancing to the tunes of the evening breeze. A distant temple bell adds to the rhythm of nature. One can almost listen to all the elements singing in chorus one song, the song of peace, harmony and serenity. With the setting sun slowly fading away into the horizon, comes the moon shyly peeping from the fluffy cloud curtains like a newly wed wife. Seems as though the sun and the moon although never together, yet eternally in love, share this evanescent moment to express their love.
I suddenly realize how many of these beautiful sunsets and sunrises might this place have seen over the centuries, a silent spectator of each moment. The faint smell of the flowers in bloom mildly tickles my sense of smell. Could any moment in life be any more peaceful and relaxing? I am on a high, not on alcohol but on the sheer peacefulness of this place. I see couples sitting together enjoying every bit of this romanza. With the music of nature here, could anyone have any worries on one's mind? A panacea for the troubled, a balm for the broken hearted, a shot of tequila for the dreamer is what this place is all about. This place is haven for the lovers of nature. I feel so very aware of a force so powerful yet so tender, looking down upon me saying, “Look! I made all this for you. Why are you sad? Why are you troubled? Look around you, this is all your wealth, my child, enjoy it.” The true meaning of unconditional love emerges. Love is all about being passionate about something and endeavoring to achieve happiness in it. Right now, my passion is to savour every moment of this evening unconditionally. Yes, I’m in Love… This evening shall end but not this moment of dawning ever etched in my memory. Transience and evanescence are two similar aspects of life which everyone has to accept, but memories and dreams are a world where permanence is reality. The moon is up now and its time to get back to the world until its time to come to Utopia again.
